The Sunset Aperitivo follows the same spectacular route as our La Dolce Vista tour — past the grand lakeside villas, on to the hidden Nesso waterfall — but timed so that the return journey unfolds in the warm glow of the Lake Como sunset.

Lake Como changes completely at dusk. The mountains deepen to violet, the water takes on a copper shimmer, and the grand villas along the shore seem to glow from within. It is, without question, the most beautiful time to be on the lake.

The Sunset Aperitivo is designed specifically around this hour — departing in the late afternoon so the return journey unfolds in the heart of golden hour, prosecco in hand.

the Sunset Aperitivo

What time does the tour depart? +

Departure time depends on the season — sunset changes throughout the year on Lake Como. When you book, we'll advise the ideal departure time to ensure you're on the water for golden hour. Typically this is between 6pm and 8pm in summer.

Is the prosecco really included? +

Yes — a chilled bottle of Italian prosecco is included in the €500 price for the whole boat. We'll open it at the right moment during the cruise. Water and soft drinks are also provided throughout.

Is €500 per person or for the whole boat? +

€500 is the total price for the entire private boat, for up to 7 guests. Fuel, captain and prosecco are all included. No additional costs, unless a small pick-up fee applies for very remote departure points.

What happens if the weather is bad? +

Lake Como sunsets are beautiful even on overcast days — the light on the mountains is often more dramatic with clouds. If conditions are genuinely poor, we'll contact you in advance and work together to reschedule at no cost.

Can we add a swim stop? +

Yes — just let us know when booking. Your captain will find a calm spot on the lake before sunset. Towels are available on request.
